I see a charge on my card, but I don’t have an order — what’s happening?Updated 2 months ago
If you’re seeing a charge on your bank or card statement but don’t have an order confirmation from us, don’t worry — this is usually a temporary authorization, not a completed payment.
Authorization vs. completed payment
When you attempt to place an order, your bank may place a temporary authorization on your card to verify that sufficient funds are available.
If the checkout process isn’t completed successfully, the order is not created and the payment is never captured by us.
This means:
No order exists in our system
We did not receive the funds
The charge is temporary and controlled by your bank
How long does a pending authorization last?
In most cases, pending authorizations are automatically released by your bank within 5–7 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
Why can’t you refund this charge?
Because the payment was never completed, there is no transaction for us to refund. Only captured payments (for completed orders) can be refunded.
Once the authorization expires, the pending amount will disappear from your statement automatically.
What should I do if the charge is still there?
If the pending charge is still showing after 7 business days, we recommend contacting your bank directly. They’ll be able to confirm the status and release the authorization if needed.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes. Since no order was completed and no payment was captured, there is no risk of an unauthorized purchase being processed.

Using PayPal, Shop Pay, Klarna or similar payment methods
If you attempted to place an order using PayPal, Shop Pay or another accelerated checkout option, you may also see a pending authorization even if the order wasn’t completed.
In these cases:
The payment provider temporarily authorizes the amount
No order is created if checkout isn’t finalized
Funds are not captured by us
Pending authorizations from these providers are usually released automatically within 5–7 business days, depending on the payment method and your bank. If the charge remains pending beyond this timeframe, we recommend contacting the payment provider directly for confirmation.
